Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp is a Canadian actor who is known for her lead roles on a number of TV shows, and for her enthralling acting in films. Her popularity is shared by the world of Canadian as well as American TV. Emily was first interested in acting when she saw her sister Katie working on a film. Once she discovered her passion for acting she started taking classes in acting and going to auditions. After some commercials, which were successful, she was soon cast in the Canadian children's horror television show Are You terrified of the Dark? One scene in which she was seen without saying a word. On the WB TV show Glory Days, she received her first major break at the age of 15. Emily's acting skills caught the attention to Dawson's Creek's Greg Berlanti, who then made her a part of his television show Everwood. Emily has also been a dancer also a photographer, and was named as one of Teen's top 20 actors. The actress was named the 51st on Maxim's Hot 100 list of 2014.
