Jenna Fischer has become best known as Pam Beesly, the character she played on The Office. For this part, Jenna was honored with two SAG Awards in Outstanding Ensemble Comedy and an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
Her birthplace was Fort Wayne, Indiana, but was raised mostly in St. Louis, Missouri. Jenna was a spectator as her mother Anne was in the church stage. The passion for performing and theatre was cultivated as a teenager.
Fischer is an actress with theatre training. The Office actress Angela Kinsey Fischer, who is her real-life best friend and castmate, launched Office Ladies in October 2019 on Earwolf. The show became hugely popular and ranked within the Top Ten of the world each week. The podcast received more than 200 million downloaded during its first two years. Office Ladies, which was released in the month of October it was nominated for iHeartRadio's Podcast of the Month award for January 2021.
The Actor's Life was her debut book that describes the path she traveled to get from St. Louis, Missouri to Hollywood, where she became an actor professionally. Her second, Office BFF's (co-authored by Angela Kinsey) is a memoir of her most beloved friend as well as their time at The Office.
